MaNu Lodge now has the ability to send text alerts to remind you of upcoming Lodge and Section/National events. To get these alerts, text “Follow MaNuLodge” to 40404. Although this text alert system is done through Twitter, following the Lodge does not require a Twitter account or any obligation to get one. All “Tweets” by the Lodge will be forwarded to your texting inbox. You should receive a message saying that you are now following MaNuLodge, followed by a message that says “Tweet Test”, which is our first tweet to test out the new system. The first people who tried this out said the system worked flawlessly. Get connected and stay in touch with what is going on!

The link below is the web address for the lodge’s 2012 online dues payment system. Your 2012 dues are payable by December 31, 2011, so please don’t include your dues with your unit’s January rechartering paperwork–they will be late, and they may be lost! The online process is simple: Answer a few questions and enter a credit card number at the end. The goal of this link is to provide a secure and convenient option for our membership to pay their dues on time. We also hope to reduce the amount of membership lost to non-payment of dues, and to keep youth active longer in the BSA. We hope this system will also help the lodge collect updated, correct, contact information.

2012 National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC)

Conference Fee
The conference fee is $800 for youth and adult members who pay their total conference fee by April 30, 2012. The fee includes five night’s housing, 14 meals, program and support material, registration materials, travel to and from Michigan State, and recognition items during the six-day conference.
Payment Options
1. Pay the total fee of $800 by December 31, 2011. $100 of the conference fee is a non-refundable deposit. Don’t wait!! Space is limited for NOAC.

The 2012 National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) will be one of your most memorable Scouting experiences. NOAC 2012 will be held at Michigan State University from July 30 through August 4, 2012 and is projected to be one of the largest in the Order’s history with more than 8,000 Arrowmen in attendance.
NOAC will feature a number of unique events, including national competitions for ceremonies, drum, and dance; evening shows; the OA history museum; and awesome recreation competitions such as soccer, basketball, and ultimate Frisbee.. Highlights such as the Founder’s Day festivities including the Founder’s Day Parade, the Grand Hodag, and the inter-Region dodge ball battle are some of the exciting events at NOAC.
Arrowmen can participate in service projects, high adventure opportunities, leadership training, American Indian Activities training, and much more. While enjoying the various activities, Scouts will have a great time meeting new brothers and sharing their experiences with people from around the nation.

2012 ORDER OF THE ARROW EVENT PASS
MaNu Lodge is pleased to announce the new Annual Event Pass. The cost of the Annual Event Pass is $68 and covers the 2012 registration fees for the Lodge Banquet, LLDC, Spring Ordeal, Fall Ordeal, Brotherhood Night, and Fall Fellowship. The Annual Event Pass represents a savings of $10 and includes a special lodge flap. The Special Lodge flap will be mailed to your address. Please note: you must pay at time of registration or have paid 2012 dues to take advantage of this special offer. There will be an opportunity to add the $10 for 2012 dues to the total cost of the Annual Event Pass during registration.
Annual Event Pass holders will still be required to RSVP for each lodge event, at no cost. The 2012 Annual Event Pass will be available for purchase until the Lodge Banquet on Januray 7, 2012. The Annual Event Pass is non-transferable or refundable.
