Welcome!September 17th, 2009 / Author: adminThis is the home of the Kittakima Chapter of Manu Lodge. Manu is the Order of the Arrow Lodge of the Last Frontier Council, Boy Scouts of America located in Oklahoma. Upcoming EventsAugust 6th, 2010 / Author: adminBrothers, we have several events coming up that you seriously need to consider participating in to support our Lodge. The Summer and Fall Fellowships are just what they suggest. They are a time of fellowship where we get together for food and fun. There are some workshops in the morning you can attend to learn about serving as an Elangomat, building regalia, etc. The afternoon is taken up with swimming, shooting and other fun activities. All meals are provided in the dining hall. The hardest thing you have to do is set up your tent on Friday night and take it down on Sunday morning. Please consider coming and bring an OA buddy to share the fun with. You won’t regret it. Also, we need you at Ordeal. We are kicking off ceremony practice again and anyone interested in joining the team can contact Keith Carpenter at the contact information provided on this site. You can also serve as an Elangomat and go to Ordeal for free. There will be member projects to participate in for those who are not Elangomats. Between that schedule change and having so many Arrowmen either gone to summer camp, high adventure or serving on camp staffs, we will not have a Chapter meeting during the month of June. May 29th Work Day at Camp George Thomas (Instead of John Nichols Scout Ranch)May 25th, 2010 / Author: adminThe location of the Order of the Arrow work day this Saturday, May 29th has been changed from John Nichols Scout Ranch to Camp George Thomas based on input from our council property manager. We will begin working at 8:00 a.m. and will conclude in the late afternoon. Please wear work clothes and work gloves, and bring bow saws and loppers. Adults who are able to bring trailers with a vehicle to haul brush, as well as chainsaws, would be greatly appreciated. Lunch will be provided. So the camp will have enough food, Tom Huibregtse needs input immediately from each chapter, as well as units that may attend, on the number who will be helping. This activity is open to units and districts. There will be few tasks for Cub Scout age youth, but there will be plenty for older youth and adults. Please get the word out and the information back ASAP on the number who will attend. Congratulations to Our Newest Arrowmen and Brotherhood MembersMay 19th, 2010 / Author: adminCongratulations are in order for the Baden Powell District Scouts and Scouters who just completed their Ordeal or Brotherhood at Slippery Fall Scout Ranch over May 14th thru 16th.
